More trouble for Axes Multi Developers of Durgapur

The Axes Group of Durgapur finds itself into more trouble as more people lodged complain of cheating against this real estate company of Durgapur which has forays into media, resort, hotel business and monthly deposit schemes in last few years.

After the complain of a Andal resident Ajit Das, a retired ECL employee, two more complain has been lodged at the Aurobindo Police Station of Durgapur against the company director, Katyayan Bhattacharyya by two separate persons, yesterday.

ACP (East) of Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate, A.C. Silvamurugan, disclosed that on Thursday, Pradip Kumar Singha of Srinagar Pally Benachity and Ila Sarkar residing in the NIT Durgapur Campus has lodged complain with the Durgapur police stating that they has been not given the promised land for which they have paid money to the Axes Developers, one of the companies under Axes Group.

Though Mr. Pradip Kumar has not mentioned the amount he has paid, but Mrs. Sarkar has mentioned that she has paid an amount of Rupees, one lakhs thirty thousands to Axes Multi Developers but has been allotted any land.
Both of them also mentioned that the company director, Katyayan Bhattacharyya, even misbehaved with them when they went to the company office at City Centre and met the director.

The three Axes Group directosr, Katyayan Bhattacharyya, Satyabrata Basu and Saraswati Basu are absconding from Monday when police raided the house of Bhattacharyya. Police are in search of the three and have even send information to other state police also.

Police sources said that nothing much important has been known from the interrogation of the arrested eight workers and officials of the Axes group. However, investigation department of Asansol-Durgapur commissionerate has been investigating the case of fraud.
