So plan your next weekend at Murshidabad. Leave Durgapur early on any Saturday morning and try to reach Murshidabad within 01 p.m. Book your hotel beforehand. Check into your hotel and after taking lunch within 2 p.m take a local guide in your car and see all the important historical places. You can also keep your vehicle in the hotel and hire a horse driven cart to visit all these places.
Next day take a boat ride on the Bhagirathi and visit Moti Jheel and Khosbagh. Leave your hotel after taking lunch and proceed back to Durgapur. You will really love the whole trip.
