Homemade remedies to stop hair greying

Durgapur – a major industrial town of Eastern India is one of the most polluted cities of the region as well. Agglomeration of a large number of varied kinds of industries is the major source of pollution. Such high levels of pollution are a major cause of concern and complain for the residents of the city as well.

Premature greying of hair

Many pollution related diseases like gastritis, asthma, premature graying and falling of hair, bronchitis, tuberculosis are predominant among the citizen of this industrial town. Almost every citizen of the industrial town of Durgapur is a victim of this high level of pollution in some way or other.
Almost every citizen of Durgapur in the age group of above 35 complains of premature greying of hair. Today we will discuss about some homemade remedies to check this greying of hair and in fact reverse the process of greying.
Castrol is known to stop the process of greying of hair effectively. Take litre of castor oil and to it mix an ounce each of grounded coffee and sandalwood in a vessel. Heat the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes. Let it cool, strain it and then store it in an airtight vessel after. Use this oil to message the scalp once in every seven days and let it stay overnight before washing the hair. This effectively stops the process of greying of hair and even reverses the greying process.
Another effective remedy to fight greying of hair is using a homemade pack of heena, amla and tea leaves. To prepare the pack, take a tablespoon of Heena, Amla and Tea leaves powder and put it in a vessel. Add a cup of hot water to the powder and mix well. Add a pinch of salt and a small lime juice. Let it set for 4 to 5 hours. Now the pack is set for application. Apply and let it stay for two hours. Then wash it with plain water and do not use shampoo or soap. Use this pack once in a week and prevent greying of hair.
